How vCard Line Folding Works
Long vCard property lines can be folded across multiple physical lines. A continuation line begins with whitespace and must be joined before parsing.

Why folding exists
Folding keeps long property lines manageable for older transport and text systems. The logical property value remains one value after unfolding.
Troubleshooting
If a parser treats a continuation as a new property, long notes, photos, or encoded names may be corrupted. Validate the file and inspect the raw view.
